Saving Private Ryan opening scene description

The scene starts with a close up to the use flag, then it moves to the next shot with a close up to the characters feet and tilt up to his head. Then a wide angle all in focus shot to show the family moving. Then we continuously have shots of the family back and forth with the camera moving with the characters. Then we get a 30 degree wide shot that shows the entire family with the character moving. In this long shot the camera zooms in to the character face to show his expression. Then we get shots of the American flag and the french flag. Then back to the character to highlight the emotions. Then we get a shot zoomed out with the camera moving by using pan with the character. it starts low then it goes up. Next shot goes with the a normal lens that has the entire picture in focus. This helps it to be slow. After that we get low angle shots to emphasize the location. These shots are establishing shots because they are showing the crosses for the viewer to get an idea where this action takes place. Then we get a close up of the character meanwhile the camera is slowly zooming in to his eyes. Also to mention the entire scene, as most of WWII movies, use faded color that makes the scene look grey. It gives an odd feeling. It is like the sky is covered with clouds to create a dramatic and depressive scene.
